In the mid-1990s a group shared their experiences at Ten Forty dinner and discussion evenings. Their stories were recorded on tape and now we’ve made them into a podcast.

This is the website of Ten Forty Matrix

A vigorous loose-limbed organisation of lesbians over forty who relish discussion and debate about the issues we face in work, life, at home, in the arts and politics. The site originally catered for women in the Sydney area, but over the years, olderdykes.org has grown beyond its original borders to embrace women from all over Australia and internationally.

Here is a multi-faceted resource, brimming with ideas, debate, humour, personal stories, reviews, travel information, short fiction, poetry, commentary, the opportunity to communicate with others and many links to other sites of interest and relevance.

There is also news about forthcoming events – social and political. We welcome seekers, browsers, interactors, readers, researchers and lovers of all things lesbian both light and lofty.
